Divine Light comes from the idea that God created light. Light is often seen as a metaphor for God being with us in our lives. It shows us God is with us in the good times and the tough times.

Light is not just physical. It has a deeper meaning in religion and philosophy. It’s a source of physical and spiritual illumination. That means it helps us see the truth and feel connected to something bigger than us.

The word “light” is used a lot in different religions like Buddhism, Christianity and Hinduism. In these faiths light means something pure and good. It shows us the way and makes us feel closer to our faith.

The Divine Light of God can overcome darkness. That means when life feels tough and dark this light gives us hope. It reminds us there’s always a way out of the darkness.

In theology divine light is an aspect of divine presence. It’s often seen as light in special moments or represented in stories and symbols. These help us understand how powerful this light is.

Overcoming Obstacles and Limitations in Mental Health

Throughout life, we often experience many seasons of light and darkness. This means there are good times and bad times. But the Divine Light of God will always shine through the darkness. It may not happen right away, but it will eventually bring light to our lives.

Even when there is darkness around us, we are called to walk in the Divine Light.

Mental health is also very important for overall health and wellbeing. Taking care of our mental health allows us to live happier and healthier lives. It’s okay to seek help when we need it. There are certain tools that we can use ourselves to start feeling better more often. Let me mention a few in the next section.

Deepening Your Connection with Divine Light

How can we bring more divine light into our lives? Here are 5 simple yet powerful ways:

  1. Prayer & Meditation: Spending time in quiet reflection helps us feel closer to God’s presence and gain clarity in our lives. Example of a simple prayer or mantra that you can repeat during a meditation or for example before falling asleep is: “I am peace, I am love, I am perfect health.” Keep repeating it for 5-15min, but don’t do it mechanically, instead listen to yourself while saying it out loud or only silently in your head.
  2. Acts of Love & Kindness: Spreading positivity and compassion reflects divine light into the world around us. Offer your help to others (selfless service). Give honest compliments more often – if you struggle saying it out loud, start by practicing saying it silently in your head as if you would say it out loud; over time it will become much easier and natural to start saying it out loud more often. Be the reason, somebody else has a good day.
  3. Positive Self-Talk: Be kind to yourself. Give yourself compliments every day. Be your own biggest supporter. The stories we are telling in our heads every single day have a huge impact on our health, life and overall wellbeing. If you make the effort to choose to become mindful of this as often as possible, and choose to simply switch to talking in a more positive and optimistic manner to yourself, this can become one of the biggest positive changes you can control and is always free to do.   4. Visualization: Take 5mins every morning and every evening and imagine yourself standing with your feet in a shallow crystal clear river under a waterfall of light and imagine this light gently washing through you and your aura and washing away any darkness, leaving you shining with bright white or golden light. Do your best to actually feel this light, feel the lightness and the positivity coming from it. The more you practice feeling it, the more it starts reflecting its positive effects into your everyday life.
  5. Healing Sessions: Participate in free group healing sessions. Occasionally or as often as suitable have private energy healing sessions with some energy healer(s) you trust and where you experience positive changes during and after every session.
